About Our Translation Service
What types of documents can you translate?

We translate virtually any type of document across all major industries. Our most common document types include: legal contracts and court documents, medical records and clinical trial documentation, financial reports and investment prospectuses, technical manuals and patents, academic certificates and transcripts, marketing materials and website content, and immigration and visa documents.

If you have a document type not listed here, please contact us and we will confirm our capability within a few hours.

How long does a translation typically take?

Turnaround depends on the length, complexity, and language pair. As a guide, a professional translator delivers around 1,500–2,000 words per day. Standard projects return within 48 hours; priority and urgent orders can be done in as little as 12–24 hours. We always agree the deadline with you upfront.

What languages do you cover?

We cover 100+ language pairs. Most requested: English to and from French, Spanish, German, Italian, Portuguese, Mandarin Chinese, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, and Polish. For less common pairs, enquire directly — we typically confirm availability within a few hours.

What file formats do you accept?

We work with virtually all common formats: Word (.doc / .docx), Excel (.xlsx), PowerPoint (.pptx), PDF, plain text (.txt), HTML, XML, InDesign (.idml), and more. We return translations in the same format as your source file, preserving your original layout and formatting.

Do you use machine translation?

Our standard and certified translations are performed entirely by human translators. We do offer a Machine Translation Post-Editing (MTPE) service as a lower-cost option — clearly labelled and priced separately. If unsure which service fits your needs, our team is happy to advise.

Quality & Certification
What does ISO 17100 certified mean?

ISO 17100 is the internationally recognised standard for professional translation services. It defines requirements for translator qualifications, the dual-linguist review process, and project management practices. Our certification is independently audited annually, giving you verifiable assurance that every project meets the highest quality benchmarks.

Do you offer certified translations?

Yes. Our certified translations include a signed statement of accuracy and are accepted by the UK Home Office, UKVI, courts, universities, and most embassies worldwide. Apostille or notarisation can also be arranged. Please tell us the intended use so we can tailor the certification accordingly.

What is your quality process?

We follow the ISO 17100 TEP (Translation-Editing-Proofreading) process on all standard and certified projects. A native-speaking specialist translates your document; an independent second linguist edits and proofreads it; a project manager conducts a final quality check before delivery. This dual-review approach underpins our 99.8% accuracy rate.

What if I’m not satisfied with the translation?

We offer unlimited free revisions within 30 days of delivery. In the rare event we cannot bring the translation to your satisfaction, we offer a full refund — no questions asked.

Privacy & Confidentiality
Is my document kept confidential?

Absolutely. Every translator and reviewer signs an NDA before working on any project. We comply fully with UK GDPR and do not share your files or personal data with any third party other than the linguists directly assigned to your order. Files are stored on encrypted servers and deleted after 30 days unless you request otherwise.

How do you store and protect my documents?

All files are transmitted using 256-bit SSL encryption. Our servers are ISO 27001-compliant and hosted in secure UK-based data centres. Access is restricted to the project team assigned to your specific order. We can provide a full Data Processing Agreement (DPA) on request.

Can I request an NDA before sharing my documents?

Yes. We are happy to sign your organisation’s NDA, or we can provide our own standard NDA for your review and signature. Simply mention this when you first contact us — we arrange it promptly, usually within a few hours.

Pricing & Payment
How much does translation cost?

Pricing starts from £0.08 per word (Starter) and £0.12 per word (Professional). Enterprise clients receive custom volume-based pricing. The final cost depends on language pair, subject matter, turnaround time, and any add-ons. We always provide a transparent, fixed-price quote before work begins — no hidden charges. See our Pricing page for a full breakdown.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), BACS/CHAPS bank transfer, SEPA transfer for EU clients, and PayPal. Enterprise clients can arrange monthly invoicing with 30-day payment terms. VAT invoices are issued automatically.

Do you offer discounts for large volumes?

Yes. Projects over 50,000 words typically receive a 10–20% volume discount. Monthly retainer agreements offer savings of up to 25%. We also apply reduced rates for repeated segments using our translation memory (TM) service. Contact our sales team to discuss a custom agreement.
